AAT say yes, to the question: “Have we been visited or currently visited by extraterrestrials”, and I have to say yes too. After all the evidence that human kind has collected throughout its history, it is more than evident that this is the case and that our civilization has been influenced by other worldly beings.
The evidence we have today comes from ancient religions and tales from different cultures from around the world and most of them coincide that we originate from the gods that came from the skies and that they manifested themselves in different ways. In some tales you have the flying carpets, a form of transportation most notably found in oriental tales and mentioned in the writings of different civilizations at various points of time in history. Other forms of manifestations are that of space ships moving at incredible speeds without noise and beaming lights. In addition, there are areas in our planet with intense magnetic fields such as the Bermuda Triangle that have puzzled navigators since the time when Columbus reached the new world and still the scientific community has no real explanations of what happens there. La Zona del Silencio in northern Mexico where cellphones drop out of range, radios and compass don’t work, there are strange rocks everywhere and strange mutated animals. It is located between the same parallel as the Bermuda Triangle, 26 degrees N and 28 degrees N of the equator and connects to the Egyptian Pyramids. Or the portals around the world such as Hayu Marca in my Native Peru discovered in 1996-very recent- a huge mysterious door-like structure in the Hayu Marca mountain region of Southern Peru. Hayu Marca, 35 kilometers from the city of Puno has long been revered by local Indians as the “City of the Gods”, and has never been fully explored because of the rugged mountain terrain. Although no actual city has ever been discovered, many of the rock formations of the region resemble buildings and artificial structures. The door, or the “Puerta de Hayu Marca” (Gate of the gods/spirits) has been at some time in the distant past carved out of a natural rock face and it measures exactly seven meters in height by seven meters in width with a smaller alcove in the center at the base, which measures in at just under two meters in height.
There is so much physical evidence in paintings, arts crafts, texts, and word of mouth from generation to generation that keep surfacing every year and have similarities between cultures. Most emphatically, the physical evidence of extraterrestrial influence is present in the colossal architecture that we find around the world today from different civilizations that one has to ask oneself, how in the world did these ancient people with no technology build such magnificent structures with the primitive tools that they had? Not even today, with our current technology would we be able to construct or move such massive stones and perform the detail of craftsmanship that we find in sites such as Puma Punku in Bolivia or scattered around Egypt, just to name a couple. The reality is that they are present around the world but many not known to mainstream except for the famous sites.
The physical evidence is mind boggling. Sites like the Nazca Lines, Ollantaytambo, the massive stones of Sacsayhuaman in Cuzco with its massive stones with the largest weighing 200-300 tons, the Paracas mommies with the elongated skulls, Marcahuasi all in Peru. The Moai of Easter Islands, the largest weighing 80 ton, Puma Punku in the Highlands of Bolivia a field of giant stones scattered with fine carvings with such precision that would have been impossible without modern tools over a thousand years ago or more according to some scholars. Other sites such as Ba’albek, Lebanon, Aswan Egypt, the Ghiza Plateau, etc.
This is a topic of much controversy and there is much skepticism on these matters, in the same way that before 1492 Europeans thought that the world was flat and if you sailed west you would plunder into oblivion. We are talking a little over 500 years and look where we are today. But why is the evidence starting to appear more rapidly and becoming more mainstream? In part because of better technology, such as Satellite imaging of deserts and jungles and I am a firm believer that the way things are currently evolving, sooner rather than later we are going to really start understanding this mystical puzzle. Secondly, space exploration was controlled by governmental agencies and kept as top secret. This is changing rapidly with the private sector going into space exploration. Companies like Space X are continuously developing the technology to go where no humans have gone before, even with setbacks such as the one suffered in August of this year when according to Space X president Elon Musk: “SpaceX’s Falcon 9 blew up while it stood on its launch pad at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station moments before a test firing of its engines. No humans were on board and no one was hurt. It was scheduled to launch a commercial satellite for Facebook valued at $200 Million. The blast occurred while crews were fueling the rocket.” Sapec X just announced yesterday that in eight years travel to Mars will be routine and a human colony will be established. This will be huge.
Like in any other industry, there are many setbacks to develop the technology to ultimately propel human kind into new heights; we’ve been through this cycle before. But just to get an idea of the geometrical growth of the money invested into the industry, Venture capital firms invested $1.8 billion in commercial space startups in 2015, nearly doubling the amount of venture cash invested in the industry in all of the previous 15 years combined. The industry is expanding fast and very soon man will be on space on a regular and permanent basis, besides the space station. The moon is currently being evaluated with the help of satellites to identify the best real state areas for developing colonies, launching pads, refueling stations, you name it. This is turning out to be a race in the same way that back in the day the Spanish, Dutch, English, Belgian, Portuguese sailed across the globe stablishing territories as colonies. This is just the beginning. And, along this ride we are going to start to discover that we are not alone and no longer will governments be able to conceal information and evidence to human kind.
Much information has been withheld from mainstream, UFO crashes around the world such as Area 51 in New Mexico, or Dalnegorsk in Russia. There is a theory that through reverse engineering we have been able to deconstruct the technology found in these crashes and develop many of the products, materials and technologies that we have today. Many of these technologies started appearing after Second World War and in the last half century human kind have advanced more than in any other time in history- technology development has been exponential. Technologies such as fiber optics, microchips, wireless communications, night vision, advance and composite materials, etc. In addition, another theory suggests that certain individuals such as Leonard De Vinci or Steven Jobs were ahead of its time and chosen to transmit this knowledge to humans.
Videos are also interesting but more controversial and most are fake- but maybe not all. There are a couple recent ones in Peru and Izmir, Turkey that are peculiar. But for me the physical evidence of buildings, architecture, materials and art is what puzzles me; it just wasn’t that ancient people cut these stones with hammers and chisels and rolled them on trees.
“There is more than meets the eye”
With the destruction of many natural environments and many species driven close to extinction, conservation biologists used to think that the answer to saving at least some of this precious land and endangered species was to create National Parks and Protected Areas. In many cases this believe has worked, but it does not necessarily apply to all cases around the world.
This model has been in place for a few decades now but has been unable to stop illegal poaching and many species are still at risk because of the vast territories that are hard to police. In addition, other problems have been identified such as the clustering of marked territories preventing wild life to roam in a natural way.
One of the most evident problems is the unbalance of the ecosystems as the individual populations of species are altered because of the artificial creation of borders or boundaries in these reserves. After millions of years of evolution, nature has adjusted itself so that all species are interdependent on each other for their survival, as cruel as it sometimes seems to be when killing another specie for survival, is just how each individual species rely on each other and in some cases even partner to obtain food or protection. If one specie is affected, the rest will suffer and the ecosystem becomes unbalanced and deteriorates.
Wildlife has been in migration mode for millennia. You just can’t set a boundary and expect animals within these boundaries to thrive and flourish because their populations begin to inbreed and slowly decline in numbers and health.
With the implementation or better said, with the reinstatement of natural corridors around the globe, animals are able to continue their migration patterns and maintain healthy populations and thrive the way they are supposed to. Here in North America, the Yellowstone to Yukon Y2Y is a great example of how the grizzly bears, caribou, lynx, golden eagles and native cutthroat trout populations are rebounding. The same happens with the Florida Wildlife Corridor protecting the panthers and bears. Around the world the Great Eastern Ranges Initiative in Australia, The Jaguar Corridor from Mexico to Argentina, and the Kenyan and Tanzanian Corridors are just a few examples of how we should protect wildlife.
Because of human population explosion in the last fifty years, the pressure on natural resources, the environment and natural fauna, the planet has suffered tremendously. After all these years, some communities around the world are turning around this trend. They have realized that this destruction cannot continue if we are to survive as a specie and as a planet, and now are protecting the environment and learning to co-exist with the animal world. One example of this is in India, despite having the second largest population on earth and having exterminated most of its fauna, in the Gujarat region where only twenty or so individuals of Asian Lions existed a few years ago, they now number over 400 thanks to the community’s ability to coexist next to this magnificent creatures. The community tracks lion movement around towns while protecting their crops with the lions help. At night time when the deer come to eat and destroy the crops in the town’s fields, the locals know where the deer are and sound a bell indicating the lions that dinner is served and where to go. The lions move in and hunt a few dear for dinner, the rest of the deer depart while the locals watch the spectacle assisted with some bonfires just a few meters away from the lions-partners in crime. For the most part lions stay away from town, even if they come in, people know to stay away from them and ignored them, even if someone is hurt or killed, which is very rare, they are just left alone. A unique relationship has developed between lions and people, revealing a story not of continual conflict as we might expect, but one of survival and tolerance, this is because of a change of attitude of these communities. Examples like this can be seen around the world and are an encouraging sign that we can change for the better.
Not only people have this attitude of coexistence, but animals seem to have evolved in the same way. What a better example of this, when a mama bear and her two cubs decided to take a dip in Lake Tahoe last week much to the delight of tourists around them.
“Let’s just hope it’s not too little too late”
It’s been over a year that oil prices have been declining and are at the lowest point they have been in twelve years. This has brought many complications especially to economies that depended on this commodity and particularly on dictatorship states that took advantage of large revenues of capital when the price was at $110 per barrel to perpetuate themselves in power while financing its corruption and populist practices acting as Robin Hoods of the poor. Which in reality the only thing they have accomplished is to increase the government officials bank accounts and have brought their economies to the brink of collapse now that the price is as low as it is and their fictitious economies can no longer sustain themselves.
Such is the case of Venezuela which after attempting of being South America’s revolutionary state and influencing most of the countries in the hemisphere with cheap, free oil, and dirty money, the inevitable has arrived and the Bolivarian Revolution is collapsing. No more free oil or dividends, no more allies to hold the revolution and it is just a matter of time for Venezuela to change governmental officials, and hopefully return to a legal democracy.
The trend in recent elections around South America is the departure from the Venezuelan model and its corrupt practices and more towards free electoral practices with efficient fiscal management. Such is the case of Argentina which has made severe corrections to its model in a recent change of government. Peru is having elections in April and so far everything indicates that a responsible government will take office, Guatemala has changed directions recently as well for the better. Cuba just restarted relations with the US in an effort to avoid calamity with its economy in shambles and no more assistance from Venezuela or the hay day of the Soviet assistance in the last century and Ecuador seems to be following in the same direction where more democracy is demanded and better fiscal practices, away from populist impulses, exploiting in many cases an electorate that lacks education and adequate judgement when electing officials.
In other parts of the world, Russia is cutting down benefits for its citizens and people are getting unrest and are questioning the corruption installed in power for a long period of time-Russia is 50% oil dependent for their income and are taking a blow with current prices and more bad news to follow for this country.
ISIS is taking a hit as well from above in the form of bombs and with low crude prices, recently they don’t have enough cash to finance the terror crescendo that was happening just a few months ago and all the bravado that they were displaying. Sure, they still are a threat but they are losing steam.
Most recently the situation looks dire for many oil producing countries, there is just too much production and less consumption around the globe especially by China. In addition to the regular producers, Iraq has reported growth in their production in the last year and Iran which is the 4rth largest producer will soon be contributing with more production now that sanctions have been lifted. In the U.S. some of the surge in the increase in production from fracking in the last few years have taken a hit and some companies are starting to go bust. Another downside to the low price is the loss of jobs related to the oil industry but that is compensated with growth in the economy thanks to more disposable income to the middle class. Overall this is good for everyone and most people are stoked about this trend and spending more.
Of course the oil industry, coal producers and the stock market are in complete shock and say that this is all bad. It is all bad for them because they use to live extremely good from the rest of us making the big bucks but those days are over. There is a shift in the U.S. and world economics and the scale is moving more towards in benefiting the majority and not just a few which has created the huge income inequality issue. In addition, those countries, states and cities that are leaning towards clean energy will be the last ones laughing and today there are great examples of this already happening. The least dependency of fossil fuels is the only way forward to save the environment and to create a more balanced world economy.
The world is slowly uniting to save our planet and restore economic balance
Open letter to the chairman of the associated press by: Mijael Garrido Lecca
It seems to me that the world powers have double agendas and speeches because nothing seems to be improving in the last few years in world relations. We are witnessing total chaos and selfish diplomatic relations where no one wants to give and are more focused on the gains- and the ones making the most of it is Daesh and other radical groups amongst all this turmoil.
I have always thought that most humans are greedy and selfish by nature and it runs in our DNA. Since the day of the cave man we always needed more food and shelter for our families than our neighbor and more recently more territory and resources for our countries. Nothing has changed, and as a consequence, what is going on with the terror attacks and threats is really alarming and frightening. I grew up in Peru in the 80’s and early 90’s and know the feeling of constant terror and intimidation as we had with the Shining Path and the MRTA.
As in many science fiction movies about our future in planet Earth, human kind might end up destroying each other for a few oil wells and in the near future for water and food. Human population growth is unsustainable unless there is adequate resource management between countries and a fierce determination to work towards planet unity and sustainability above all.
Events are escalating daily and all of this has already impacted the world as we knew it. Financial markets, travel, distrust, pandemics, fear, and instability looms our near future. We better be prepared and hope that rationale prevails over greed and control, for our own sake.
Let’s pray for peace and unity
Is the Niño Godzilla going to make its appearance this year? Apparently yes, the question is how strong it is going to be. The world’s climate is out of whack. Every day we are witnessing strong and cataclysmic events that were only known to have happened in the distant past. Looks like we are into the hot and drought and/or flush floods age-global warming- and this change is bringing major disruption to the planet’s climate and ecosystems.
The El Niño phenomenon is happening once again and for a while there’s been much speculation on its probable strength, but more recently as its presence is more than evident, the Niño has been named Godzilla for its magnitude. The name “El Niño” originates because this phenomenon usually appears towards the end of the year and used to coincide with Christmas time and the arrival of Jesus Christ. This name originates in South America from the impact of coastal currents in Peru and Ecuador.
A couple of days ago, the largest hurricane ever recorded in the eastern pacific struck Mexico on Friday night, it went from a tropical storm on Thursday to a Cat 5 by Friday evening in a few hours. Fortunately, it mellowed down as it made land fall thus minimizing destruction as of Saturday morning. This last summer has been one of many tropical storms and hurricanes in the eastern pacific something that only occurs every so many decades and one that is definitely related to el Niño. The waters around the equator are extremely warm as one can notice from the above map and the entire planets weather is altered. I reside in the Bay Area of Northern California and this last summer has seen plenty of beach days to the delight of beach goers. The usual foggy conditions did not occur regularly and the sun shined almost every week end at the coast with warm waters.
Because of these warm waters, the warmest I have ever felt in San Francisco since I moved to the Bay Area in 2001, have altered marine wildlife into different patterns. This last week a Great White shark was filmed feeding of a seal next to Alcatraz Island inside the San Francisco bay for the first time, in the same are that five days later a swimming completion was to take place-sketchy- and one distance that the prisoners like Al Capone and Machine Gun Kelly residents of Alcatraz when it was a prison would have loved to cover to make an escape run only 1.5 miles distance to the mainland. In addition, increased shark attacks in the Hawaiian Islands and in the Eastern seaboard of the US this last summer. Sharks showing up in areas remote to their usual waters such as in Arica, Chile last week and cold water species disappearing and being replaced by tropical marine wildlife.
This El Niño event, which has been under observation for months now, still poises the question: How strong is it going to unfold? Scientists and weather people still don’t make the final verdict because it is too hard to predict. Let’s just hope that Mini Godzilla is the one that shows up and not angry Mama Godzilla, which could unleash massive destruction around the globe in the months to come.
Preparation is key in the next few months.

The agreement between Turkey and the US to allow the use of the two bases in Turkey for the US fighter planes is most likely the beginning of a new era and a game changer in the fight against ISIS. This agreement was reached after Turkey recently suffered first hand violent attacks in its territory and decided to join the fight against the terrorists groups that are threatening to spill into their territory from south of the border. After feeling the heat of violence they are ready to actively confront the regional threats and this barbaric trend of the extremist groups.
ISIS has expanded in the last few years like a cancer and so far has had much success regardless of some recent defeats. But the reality is that this extremist organization is led by professional and well trained people that their goals are to expand and govern states around the world-see attached article and map. This threat has to be dealt with and more sooner than later because of its rapid expansion.
In this week’s news, the country of Syria is already facing a facto partition; it took less than a week to see the impact of the Turkish-US agreement. It is for sure a game changer as I mentioned earlier. The ideal scenario is to rid Syria of Assad and stabilize the country after his fall but this will be once again a challenging task. First, to tumble him and second, if this happens, the power vacuum that is left behind as we’ve seen on other countries once the dictator falls will create immense chaos, but still a better situation than having him in power along with ISIS and other groups all fighting each other. The Turks are not fond of Assad either and once he falls it would be much easier to go after ISIS. In the meantime the plan is going after ISIS through Turkey and figuring out what to do later once the region starts to stabilize in Syria and Iraq.
Along with the bombings, intelligence will be the most important area to develop to minimize loss of coalition troops. Like in business, Location, Location, Location; in this warfare Intelligence, Intelligence, Intelligence, will be the way to go- obtain it with cash- to eliminate ISIS leaders and disrupt their operations with precise bombings and eliminating terrorist rats hiding in their holes, while minimizing civilian casualties as much as possible. This, complemented with special operations assaults to seal the deal, and slowly but surely the tide can be reversed even if it takes years but the civilized world has to be in the offensive-this problem is not going away. Unfortunately, according to the US department of defense, the recent trained forces that are being sent to Syria are not responding as planned, but they are getting better and larger in number and in the long run they will have an impact along with the other tactics.
It will be interesting to see now that changes are happening fast with this deal, how will the recent nuclear treaty with Iran will unfold. Iran is a provider for Assad and an ally to keep him in power. There is a conflict of interest here. Most likely Assad will be able to secure part of Syria for himself, cronies, and followers but is already losing some of its territory and new states may arise. I am completely amazed to the extent that Assad can go to remain in power regardless of human life, destruction of his own country, selfishness and stubbornness. The territories that he is losing are purposely being bombarded to annihilation so the people left behind won’t be able to survive in the ruins. This guy is now part of history as an evil individual and will rot in hell for his sins along others, for his crimes to humanity. Russia is also a supporter of Assad and Iranian ally, so will be interesting to see what happens next.
Four million Syrian refugees have fled the country and eight million people have been displaced within the country. This is a situation of unprecedented proportions and one that will take decades to sort out. Among all this suffering, two good Turkish people shared their fortune with some of these poor souls.
